Our History The concept of Sacred Heart Senior Living began twelve years ago, as a goal by a small group of local business owners and executives of Sacred Heart Hospital. Their vision was to develop a senior living community with supportive services that would enhance the individual’s life, promote dignity, independence and wellness. They combined their knowledge and resources and founded the first community in Northampton. Sacred Heart Senior Living is locally owned and operated and offers lifestyle choices of either Assisted or Independent Living. Select the type of care and length of stay that meets your needs. There are no buy-in charges, no entrance or community fees.

Current Employment Opportunities Available: Med Tech's , CNA's,  PCA's - All Shifts Dietary Aide PT positions available at our Center Valley and Northampton locations for the 7am - 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm shifts. Position involves serving meals to our residents, clearing tables, dishwashing, and light cleaning. Requirements Every other weekend required Excellent attendance required. Be able to follow written and oral instructions and able to read/ write/ communicate in English. Must be well-groomed and mature, demonstrating a spirit of cooperation and a strong work ethic. A Criminal Background Check will be conducted. Must maintain a valid CPR and First Aid Certification. Crafty people needed to volunteer and teach your wonderful talents and hobbies to our Seniors.  We are passionate about seeing people with exceptional needs involved in the community.  We have a range of volunteer opportunities, and are looking for new team members who  "have a heart",  to serve and learn.  Whether you have an interest in baking a cake, rooting for your favorite sports team,  supporting our musical programs or taking a nature walk with someone, we have something that is right for you!     Sacred Heart Senior Living by Saucon Creek continues the mission of “ Excellence in Living with Sacred Heart Care “. Situated just south of Bethlehem, at the foot of the picturesque South Mountain, our Center Valley location opened in 2005. Rolling hills and farmland characterize the surrounding Township but easy access to PA Route 309, Route 378 and Interstate 78. has made it a very attractive location to live. With the addition of the Wedgewood building in 2010, this community also boasts an on-site Primary Care Physician Care Center. Amenities This community offers walking trails, resident gardens, patios, gazebo, putting green, a pond with sparkling fountains, all nestled within a quiet and privately landscaped background.     In 1998, Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek opened along the tranquil banks of the Hokendaqua Creek. This beautiful community has much to offer as you stroll along the creek side pathways. Relax in the cooling shade of the towering maples or sit back and enjoy the gazebo. Spend some time on the patio and watch for the deer drinking at the creek. Show off your green thumb in the garden. The grounds are a true haven of lush foliage surrounded by nature’s soundscape. Sacred Heart Hospital Physician services from Northampton Medical Group is located on the campus. You do have the option to retain your current physician. Diagnostic testing, radiology, MRI and Laboratory services are provided by Northampton Imaging. Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies are available on-site. As a resident of Sacred Heart Senior Living you might also choose to use the in-house expertise of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation for therapy. All services can be coordinated and arranged through our Director of Wellness. There is comfort in knowing your health care needs can be addressed in a professional and comprehensive manner. Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek was named "Business of the Year 2009" by the Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce for demonstrating "a positive and continuous commitment to the Quality of Life, through it's business practices and community service and involvement". The Department of Public Welfare's recent inspection has given this community a  " DEFICIENCY FREE SURVEY " ! Congratulations to the Administrator and staff for a job well done!
