• What levels of care does your senior community offer?

We offer Personal Care and Independent Living.

  • What if my loved one is living in your community and gets to the point when your staff can no longer provide proper care for him/her?

There are some care services that Sacred Heart Senior Living is not equipped to provide. We recommend that you speak with our admissions director to address specific questions you may have.

  • What happens if funds run out?

There are many options to consider and our staff will make sure you’re well informed of the choices and benefits you may be eligible for such as the V.A. Benefit for wartime veterans or the spouses of a wartime veteran.

  • Can residents bring their own furniture?

Rooms are furnished with basic bedroom furniture (a bed, night stand, lamp, dresser, mirror, and standard sitting chair), but residents are welcome to furnish their rooms with their own furnishings. Respite stay rooms are pre-furnished and include a television. Telephones are not provided for respite stay residents; however, telephones are available in common areas of the building for resident’s use.

  • What about doctor care for residents?

Residents are welcome to keep their own primary care doctors and we will be happy to provide the necessary transportation for appointments if required (ask for details). Sacred Heart Senior Living Communities are the only facilities in the Lehigh Valley with medical centers located right on-site which is a tremendous benefit to elderly residents.

Testimonials

  • Sacred Heart assisted living is a friendly home away from home, with all the comforts but with added safety. The staff is professional, caring, and well trained to handle geriatric problems. The facilities are continually cleaned. The dietary menus are monitored by the local hospital nutrition staff. The activities are varied – like the cancer fund raiser, social ball, Bingo, music, card playing, movies, pet therapy, outdoor trips to malls, eating places, special events, and transportation to doctor’s visits. Spiritual needs are met with weekly Mass, daily rosary, and special observances of spiritual devotion. Come visit us and enjoy our happy, loving and caring facility.

  • It is the best facility because I heard other people who had been in other places, and this is so much better – especially the food, activities. It is extremely clean and people are friendly.

  • I enjoy looking at the pond with the water coming up to resemble an underwater geyser in two locations. I watch the geese bring their goslings every spring. There is the Farmhouse lodging for out of town visitors. The Emergency Care building is close by and next to the pond and a block away.
